Anne-Maree Wise is a Melbourne based contemporary artist. She launched her career in 2014 during extended leave from teaching Art in secondary schools. She has since exhibited art work in a number of group shows and held her first solo show in Collingwood in 2015.
Her work celebrates colour and vitality. Anne-Maree explores the simple pleasures in life through vast abstract studies and glamorous portraits. She uses acrylic paint implementing traditional painting techniques refined through years of study and practice in a range of studio environments.
