ARTIST BIO

I’m a hobby painter with a penchant for all things from or of the sea and its environment.

My preferred medium is watercolour but I love doing pen work or pen and wash and have also explored oils a fair bit too. I love the intricate and lacy patterns in leaves, flowers, shells, and wood for example. Trees and the Australian bush are attractive to me also.

my grandkids have inspired me to do some portraits which I enjoyed. 

Over many years I’ve learned from Estelle Godsman, Annee Kelly and John Bredl.

Most days I either paint, draw, garden or cook creatively. Life is good.

My hope is that anyone who chooses to purchase my work will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
