About the artist:
Originally from England Karen has a background in teaching and lecturing. She has been a professional exhibiting artist (painter and sculptor) for over 20 years has works in numerous corporate and private collections both nationally and internationally. She holds solo exhibitions annually and regularly participates group shows. She also has experience in teaching, art teaching, eco-art workshops, creating murals, community work, gallery management and curating exhibitions. Her poetry and artworks draw on themes inspired by nature, emotions, human interactions and virtues within us. She is interested in how art can be used to demonstrate an appreciation of and connect people to nature.Using colour, texture, form and rhythm she aims to take the viewer on a journey and explore the deeper levels that connect us all.
