ARTIST BIO

I have been travelling the Eastern seaboard of Australia and been inspired by meeting and learning from artists in Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Melbourne and now in Hobart.

I am fascinated by the macro level in still life, looking within for the colour, shapes and luminoscity of fruit, leaves and flowers that nature creates.

Another major influence is pop art and the advertising and elegance of the fifties fashions.  The Red Head collection I painted is reflective of the original design but takes it to a new level celebrating women of all cultures.
