ARTIST BIO

Hi Everyone,

I am Ummu Abdullah , I live in Melbourne with my family and children. My origin is from Bangladesh a very small and beautiful country stated in the middle of Indian sub continent . I have got my inspiration for art from the evergreen nature of my country and I have got my biggest inspiration from my very inspirational Father. From my childhood Allah blessed me with a very imaginative and observing quality like my father do, I loved to observe the beauty of nature which actually built my artistic quality at that age. As far as I can remember, Me myself with painting from the beginning when I can remember myself and I think, I brought up with colors and paint brushes, So art is my life and it gives me space, satisfaction and freedom. As I am a very introvert person I love to express My thinking through my art. I observed that the Entire nature and the system of nature is very beautiful so I choose that beauty of nature as my subject to paint and I believe through my painting I will able to spread beauty of heart and love throughout the world. From my mum and dad I have learnt we all have a responsibility to make the world a very good place to live in. that's the responsibility of every individual person. As I have seen the recent crisis of this world, people lost their love and respect to others and we actually forgetful about humanity. So I felt the urge to spread humanity throughout the world. I used my biggest passion and hobby painting as my weapon. I want people from every country will join together and we all together will spread humanity to the entire world. I am a Muslim lady and I am doing all this thing inside my very strict veil which I chose myself for me and i believe it's the dignity of a women to protect her veil and chastity, I'm very much proud of my veil Alhamdulillah . I want to prove the world this veil is not a barrier and it's really not terrorism and you can do many good activities within your practice and believe, You only need honesty, hope and love for what you are passionate to. I am really thankful to my husband because of whom I am able to fulfill my passion although I have great responsibility of a full time mother and a responsible housewife Alhamdulillah. As I am nature lover person so I like to create different natural beauty through my painting . I love color, waves, water, sky, flowers etc. So I got all the inspiration to paint from these natural elements. I love to paint with water colour, acrylic, poster color although I have plan to use other media as well. I do Arabic Calligraphy as well as pencil sketch. I have got many prizes and awards for painting in my childhood including one from our respected Mayor of Dhaka, Bangladesh. after that, I did not not joined almost 15 years to any art show or competitions for my study and for my beautiful journey of motherhood. Recently I again started joining art shows and exhibitions Alhamdulillah, I'm working as an Art and calligraphy teacher in my own art school Alhamdulillah where I'm transmitting my art skills to my students successfully Alhamdulillah. Thank you so much to you all and please stay with me I have many painting to come to share with you but remember my goal is not only to sell my artwork but a biggest goal is to unite the entire world. We together can stop every problem, all violation and corruption from the world. love you all. Thank you so much.
